Original Pitch:
"My initial idea is to create a three-minute opening sequence for a BBC Three documentary on an investigation into conspiracy theories. It will include a look into why people believe conspiracies and how we are led to believe them through social media, leading to the recent conspiracy theory on the coronavirus and the spread of misinformation."
Looking back at my original pitch I will keep the same idea that I had planned and improve upon them after the research I have done on audience behaviour and the questions I have asked my focus group.
I was deciding whether or not to focus on one specific topic or cover multiple and I have decided to focus on multiple as I feel like this will allow for me to be able to incorporate interviews and voiceovers more effectively as I will have more content to cover and more to explore.
After doing my generic research I also want to make sure that I use music within the intro and match the pace of editing to it, as I could see in other documentaries this helps to create suspense and make the viewer want to watch on.
